For this purpose, families of bacteria (Nitrosomonas and Nitrobacter) are used, which through the nitrogen cycle transform ammonia into nitrites and subsequently into nitrates, which are much less toxic.
BIO-START2, Aquarium Start Up, remove Ammonia, Chlorine and Chloramines, and quickly activate the complete cycle of Nitrogen in single-dose phials.
Each box contains 2 phials of REMOVER NH3 and 4 phials of BACTERYA.

A mixture of bacterial cultures selected by NITROSOMONAS spp., NITROBACTER spp. and BACILLUS anaerobes optional; Reverse Osmosis water, Sodium Formaldehyde Sulfoxylate, Sodium Formaldehyde Bisulfite.
- Neutralizes toxic Ammonia by its conversion in a non-toxic molecule (aminomethanesulfonate salt), easily biodegradable by nitrification in the biological filter;
- Eliminates Chlorine and Chloramine;
- The concomitant presence of Aloe vera extract, for its content of Acemannan and Glycosides, promotes the reinforcement of the immune system and the health of epidermis and gills;
- It also contributes to the reduction of the stress negative effects;
- Useful for the immediate start of new aquariums and for the transport of the fish.
- It’s fast acting thanks to the double actions of the nitrificating bacteria which completes the reaction from ammonia to nitrates;
- Thanks to the presence of anaerobic micro organisms it completes the nitrogen cycle transforming nitrates into nitrogen molecules (N2);
- It accelerates the nitrification process even with BOD5 levels above 200ml oo2/l (high levels of pollution);
- It acts quickly thanks to the synergistic action of bacteria and enzymes in the reduction of nitrate and phosphate;
- Reducing pollution stops micro organisms spreading;
- 100% efficient and easy to use thanks to the disposable phial.
Shake phial before use, open it with the special opener, withdraw the liquid with the pipette provided. Pour the acquired quantity directly in the biological filter.
Store in a cool place, preferably in the refrigerator. Keep the product out of the reach of children.
REMOVER NH3:
Fresh and marine water: 1 phial of 5ml every 200 liters, every 7-15 days
1 phial into 200 Lt removes about 1mg/L of Ammonia, in freshwater and marine water.
The combined use with NUTROBACT; PROBACT and BACTERYA and/or BIO-NITRONEX , will promote a quick start of the Nitrogen cycle.
BACTERYA:
Set up or after care:
Fresh water: one 5ml phial for every 50 lt of water.
Salt water: two 5ml phial for every 50 lt of water.
Maintenance or after water change:
Dosage every seven to fifteen days:
Fresh water: one 5ml phial of BACTERYA for every 1000lt of water.
Salt water: one 5ml phial of BACTERYA for every 500lt of water.
