In the previous article we saw how to develop a nano aquarium from the beginning, following the philosophy of E’quo products.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

In this third part, however, we will start from the Hardscape, leaving out the various drafting phases, moving directly to planting and the various development phases.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

We will focus our attention on the plant response, on the maturation times and on the coexistence of Caridine with the new line of fertilizers for aquariums “NANO”.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

The structure of the fund is similar to the other one, same methodology, same products.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Bio-soil, Vigor, Terranera Extrafine<\/span><\/strong><\/em> size<\/p>\n

The Hardscape involves the use of a large stone of the Mantein Gray Stone type, and Ivy roots (taken from nature).<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Technical features<\/span><\/span><\/span>:<\/strong><\/p>\n

o<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>Tank: 35 x 28 x 30cm, extra-clear glass;<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

o<\/strong><\/span> Lighting: 6500k LED lamp for 8 hours a day;<\/span><\/span><\/span>
\no<\/strong><\/span> Filtering:\u00a0External closed container filter, loaded with perlon wool and stilla;<\/span><\/span><\/span>
\no<\/strong><\/span> Substrate: Bio-soil<\/span><\/strong><\/em>,<\/span> Vigor<\/span><\/strong><\/em>,<\/span> Terranera Extrafine<\/span><\/strong><\/em> size.<\/p>\n

Once the Hardscape was structured I carried out the standard maturation of the tank and the filter.<\/span><\/span>
\nIn the first two weeks of the maturation phase I noticed the usual mold forming on the wood.<\/span><\/span>
\nAt the time of planting I vacuumed them up and I never noticed their reappearance.<\/span><\/span>
\nIn the first week I had a phase of whitish water, caused by bacterial flocculation, which then disappeared within two days, a sign that the bacteria had settled between the bottom and the filter.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

For the planting phase I chose plants of medium difficulty:<\/span><\/span><\/span>
\no<\/strong><\/span> Elocharis Parvula
\no<\/strong><\/span> Vesicularia Montagnei
\no<\/strong><\/span> Riccardia Chaemedrifolia
\no<\/strong><\/span> Hygrophila Pinnatifida
\no<\/strong><\/span> Micranthemum Tuberculatum<\/p>\n

Once the planting phase was completed, I activated the CO2 24 hours a day, activated the lighting for 6 hours a day and started the administration of Florido A<\/span><\/strong><\/em>\u00a0(10\u00a0drops every day on the total volume).<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

After 15 days I decided to include the first guests.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\"\" \"\" \"\"<\/p>\n

These are 25 Neocaridina Crystal Black, this to verify the feasibility of breeding delicate specimens with the use of a complete fertilization protocol.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

So far I have not had any Caridine deaths, except one that came out of the water.<\/span><\/span>
\nThis tank, unlike the other, requires less pruning, or at least less frequent.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

From the first week I wanted to test the complete protocol, immediately starting to administer<\/span><\/span><\/span> Florido B<\/span><\/strong><\/em> and Florido C<\/span><\/strong><\/em>, in association \u00a0with<\/span><\/span><\/span> Florido A<\/span><\/strong><\/em>.<\/p>\n

\"\" \"\"<\/p>\n

The vegetative response was superb.<\/span><\/span> In both the root and foliar systems, the plants showed good signs of growth and colour.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Notes<\/strong>:\u00a0the protocol does not include the use of other products, but if algae appear I recommend using Bio-alganex<\/span><\/strong><\/em> 1 vial per week, with an attack dose in the first week of 1 vial every 2 days.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

In case there is an excess of Nitrate or an excessive population in the tank I recommend using Bio-extra<\/span><\/strong><\/em>, 1 vial per week in conjunction with Remover NH3<\/strong><\/em><\/span>.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
