SUPPLEMENT OF NITROGEN AND CALCIUM
Nitrogen (N) is the main Macronutrient, essential for plant development: it is present in proteins, enzymes, nucleic acids and many other molecules. It is responsible for the intense growth and development of stems and leaves. Nitrogen constitutes up to 3% of plant dry weight. Aquarium plants can assimilate this Macronutrient both from the bottom and directly from water, using roots and leaves respectively. Calcium (Ca) is another Macronutrient essential for plants metabolism. It composes every single cell and is located even in cell walls, especially in stems and veins (which not surprisingly are harder).
Calcium collaborates to proteins synthesis and sugars, and regulates the nutrients exchange with external environment. Starting from H.W. Balling’s studies on marine aquariums, E’quo has developed a new method suitable for freshwater aquariums.
DOSO PLANT 1,2,3,4 are complete and balanced solutions for the optimal growth of aquatic plants and consequently promotes ecosystem stability. They’re ready to use with dosometric/peristaltic pumps.

Insert the suction tube of the dosing pump into the bottle/tank. Dose the four DOSO PLANT, with at least an hour between them.

Fertilization protocol of a WELL PLANTED AQUARIUM
Indicative dosage for a 100 Lt aquarium, at FULL REGIME (balanced vegetable metabolism):
from Monday to Friday 5 mL
Saturday and Sunday 21,80 mL
Indicative dosage for a 100 Lt aquarium, POST PRUNING (vegetable metabolism blocked):
from Monday to Sunday 5 mL dosing
10 mL, the Nitrate increases by 1,45 mg/Lt and the Potassium by 0,7 mg/Lt
