TROPICAL ACTIVE SOIL FOR SHRIMP
E’quo, after various studies and research, has selected a tropical soil which gives the aquarium the optimal physical characteristics for shrimp farming. Thanks to the extremely high capacity for exchange it is able to absorb the various cations from the water, including: Potassium, Magnesium, Calcium, Ammonia and others, slowly releasing these to the water, therefore favoring a healthy growth of our shrimps.
SHRIMP SOIL NERO, releases an almost zero quantity of iron in the water.
Active soil of Japanese origin, special for shrimps. grain size: 1 mm.
- The special soil allows the exchange of gases and the circulation of water inside the substrate;
- The special soil is specially designed for shrimp farming;
- The special soil has a long life in water without flaking;
- The special soil with almost zero dust, and does not need to be washed before use.
It can be used alone, or in the case of a planted aquarium, used together with the VIGOR or VIGOR PLUS substrate. After having covered the bottom of the aquarium with the substrata VIGOR, spread SHRIMP SOIL, in order to have a bed of at least 4/6cm at the front of the tank and 8/10cm at the back.
Cover all with a sheet of foil and pour in water slowly in order to avoid that the two layers mix. As SHRIMP SOIL absorbs a fraction of dissolved salts in the water (KH and GH) during the first month, it is good practice to verify the saline concentration during this period. If necessary supplement with STABILO KH+ and INTEGRA GH+, or LINFA A&B.
