TERRABRUNA also contains numerous micro and macro nutrients. Thanks to the extremely high capacity for exchange it is able to absorb the various cations from the water, including: Potassium, Magnesium, Calcium, Ammonia and others, slowly releasing these to the plant roots, therefore favouring a healthy and rigorous growth.
It is advisable to use VIGOR or VIGOR PLUS as a substrate, according to the type of planned planting.
Active soil of Japanese origin, particle size: 1 mm.
- The special soil allows the exchange of gases and the circulation of water inside the substrate;
- The special soil helps to increase the fertility of the substrate;
- The special soil creates the best environmental conditions for the development of the root system of the plants;
- Given the very high exchange capacity, the special soil is able to absorb various cations from the water, including: Potassium, Magnesium, Calcium, Ammonium, and others, slowly returning them to the roots of the plants;
- The special soil favors healthy and luxuriant growth of the plants;
- The special soil has a long life in water without flaking;
- The special soil with almost zero dust, and does not need to be washed before use.
It can be used alone or used in conjunction with substrate VIGOR. After having covered the bottom of the aquarium with the fertilizing substrata VIGOR, VIGOR PLUS, spread TERRABRUNA soil in order to have a bed of at least 4/6cm at the front of the tank and 8/10cm at the back. Cover all with a sheet of foil and pour in water slowly in order to avoid that the two layers mix. As TERRABRUNA absorbs a fraction of dissolved salts in the water (KH and GH) during the first month, it is good practice to verify the saline concentration during this period. If necessary supplement with STABILO KH+ and INTEGRA GH+, or LINFA A&B.
Note: In large aquariums, where a significant height of the substrate is required, STILLA, an ultraporous bio-mineral, can be used under the layer of VIGOR or VIGOR PLUS.
