SUBSTRATE FOR DSB
MARINA is a special substrate, designed for marine aquarists who want to use the system DSB (Deep Sand Bed) for the preparation of their aquarium. MARINA is characterized by a mixture composed of more raw materials, with different particle sizes; balanced in the right percentages with a diameter ranging from 0,05 mm up to 5mm.
The difference of these granules, avoids the formation of fester areas within the substrate.
Carbonate of Calcium, Magnesium, Potassium, Strontium. Aragonite.
GRANULOMETRY
Grain size mix:
0,3 – 0,8 mm
0,7 – 1,2 mm
1,2 – 1,8 mm
3,0 – 5,0 mm
- The special granulometry allows to obtain a good circulation of the water inside the substrate;
- The special composition stabilizes the pH of the water; Ideal substrate for heterotrophic bacteria;
- Bring out the colors;
- With the blue light of the lamp, it creates a pleasant sight.
Apply a first layer having a height of a few cm, sprinkle on this, the bacterial activator BIO-SOIL, then roll out another layer of MARINA, to create a fund with a height that can vary from 10 to 15cm, depending on the size of the aquarium.
Spread the empty aluminum package on the bottom, slowly pour in the water, thus preventing the two layers from mixing.
Keep in a cool and dry place. Keep the product out of the reach of children.
