CORAL REEF1 A promotes the correct growth and robustness of the coral skeleton by providing Magnesium, Calcium and Strontium in the correct proportions. These three elements are actively absorbed from water by corals, especially the Small Polyp Stoneys (SPS such as Acropora and Pocillopora); they become part of the animal’s inner skeleton in the aragonite synthesis.
It is important to prevent the deficiencies of these elements to avoid stunted growth and fragility.
Osmosis water, Calcium, Magnesium, Strontium.
- Stimulates the growth of hard corals in the construction of the skeleton and in the calcification;
- Participates in the metabolism of calcium, preventing precipitation;
- Stimulates the growth of encrusting pink calcareous algae;
- Helps the growth of nitrifying bacteria;
- Particularly effective for hard corals such as Acropora and Pocillopora.
10 mL every 100 liters of water per week.
By periodically testing the level of Calcium and Magnesium, and increasing or decreasing the dosage, trying to maintain the optimal value of 420-450 mg/Lt for Calcium and 1300-1350 mg/Lt for Magnesium.
10 mL in 100 Lt, increase:
the Calcium value of 32 mg/Lt
the Magnesium value of 7,7 mg/Lt.
