SALINO Br & F is a liquid supplement with Bromine and Fluorine, the use of which is recommended for maintaining optimal levels of these elements in the aquarium.
Bromine is an element belonging to the halogen group, its concentration in sea water is about 65 mg/l. Bromine is the seventh most concentrated macro element yet is almost ignored by most aquarists. Bromine intervenes in the synthesis of protective chromoproteins and in the construction of the calcareous skeleton. In zooxanthellae, in the synthesis of enzymes involved in photosynthesis.
Fluorine is also part of the halogens, its concentration in sea water is about 1.3 mg/l. Fluorine intervenes in the calcification processes, in the form of fluoride, with which it creates a strong bond with Calcium.
